The Challenge is On for January, 2015!

The PIlates Challenge is On!

Thanks to You, The Challenge is On!

If you’d asked me earlier this year if we’d ever offer another Pilates Challenge, I'd have told you it was highly doubtful.

If you’re not familiar with it, the Pilates Challenge is a super-focused, 6-week program of Pilates, stretching and cardio training that we last offered almost two years ago.

I poured so much of myself into that program, making sure everyone had an amazing and even life-changing experience, that I actually hit a wall and had to cancel the last Challenge before it even started.

But that burn-out experience taught me a lot!

And, ever since, I’ve been learning more and better ways to add maximum value within the studio while maintaining my own unique form of balance that includes self-care.

There have been so many moments this year when I've had ideas, or seen something that made me exclaim, “This would be perfect and so amazing for the Challenge!

All of us at Pilates Tonic are wildly proud of, and inspired by you every day and, as instructors, we love it when we can find and create even better ways to help you reach your goals.

We have all learned so much since the last Challenge and can't wait to share all the new exercise and mind-body optimization techniques and ideas with you.

It's clear that the time is right to create a brand new Challenge to get 2015 off to a brilliant start.

I’m over-the-moon excited to announce that we are preparing the most amazing and value-packed Tonic Challenge to date.

We're still working out the details, but I wanted to give you a heads up and a general rundown of the Tonic Challenge and answer any questions you may have, especially if you are new to the Challenge.

In a nutshell, the Tonic Challenge is a 6-week program where you commit to 3-4 classes/sessions per week and 10,000 steps per day.

This program provides a container to help you get on the path to creating great new habits and attaining your goals.

It's a program designed not only to feed you physically, but to nourish you mentally.

During the six-week Tonic Challenge, we'll help you set and track realistic goals and, together, we'll create a community of support to help you attain them and break through to a new version of you.

I’ve been amazed by the power of the group setting and its ability to foster a compelling sense of personal accountability during past Challenges. It really does make a critical difference.

If this is sounding good to you so far, mark your calendars for January 12th – February 22nd and let's plan to work together to take your movement practice to the next level.

Keep an eye out for more details in a future email coming soon to an inbox near you!

In the meantime, if you have questions, ideas or class time requests, post them in the comments below.

See you in the studio!

P.S. – We've added a new Reformer class to the schedule. It starts this Thursday at 4:00 PM with Michelle.

  1. Hello Sydney,

I am interested in the challenge, but do not see a price or a place for registration.

Please send me the info or link if I missed it. Thanks, Victoria

    1. Hi Victoria, Thanks for your question! We’re still working on the final details of the Challenge packages and plan to open registration in December. I’ll send another email when the registration is officially open. In the meantime, if it’s been a while since you’ve been to the studio, you might want to consider coming in for a refresher session to get ready, or if you’re thinking about taking Reformer Classes during the Challenge, you’ll want to make sure you get your three session Reformer Prep scheduled before the Challenge begins in January. 🙂

  2. Wonderful, count me in. I’d like to see classes at 9am & 4pm- perfect times for after/ before pickup of kiddos at babysitter.

  3. I was so inspired to read about the 2015 Tonic Challenge that I bought a new pair of sneakers right away. Bring on Jan. 12! Here I am looking forward to what I would otherwise think of as just cold, short days.

    1. Hi Janet, the January 2015 Challenge won’t be available online, but this is a possibility we are considering for the future. Thanks for your question!
