Laurel Strength

Laurel is committed to assisting her clients reach their fitness goals. While her approach varies according to individual needs, what remains constant is her focus on the mind-body connection, which is the first step in a successful Pilates practice.

Laurel is a PMA member and has been trained by several accomplished Pilates instructors including both Master instructors, Jennifer Gianni and Rebecca Leone. Laurel has also trained with Master Stretch Therapist Kit Laughlin in techniques specifically addressing neck and back pain issues.

Prior to teaching Pilates, Laurel travelled with an International Dance Troupe where she had the opportunity to perform for various dignitaries as well as at the re-opening of the US Embassy in Bahrain. After retiring her dance shoes, Laurel ran a city program for at-risk youth, which focused on helping teens, find employment and continuing education opportunities. One of Laurel’s passions in life is helping others to help themselves and she brings that passion to every Pilates class and private session.
