Anne Willett Curran - Instruc­tor

Anne is fully certi­fied through the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) and has over 26 years of expe­ri­ence in the fitness and health industry. Her exten­sive back­ground in dance perfor­mance, chore­og­ra­phy, and teaching as well as theatre perfor­mance led her to embrace Pilates as a natural exten­sion of her life. She holds a master’s degree and her course of study includes corpo­rate training and commu­ni­ca­tion, psychol­ogy, dance, fitness, and nutri­tion. Chris­tine Thomas - Instruc­tor

Chris­tine Thomas takes pride in making Pilates chal­leng­ing and fun. Her teaching philos­o­phy is rooted in the funda­men­tals of Joseph Pilates while inte­grat­ing modern tech­niques and equip­ment. Chris­tine received her Pilates training with inter­na­tion­ally renowned Polestar Pilates where she mastered using the Reformer, Trapeze Table, Chair, Ladder Barrel, Mat, and small props. Each of these pieces of equip­ment chal­lenges the body and mind in unique ways culmi­nat­ing in a holistic approach to strength and wellness.

Kim Butters - Instruc­tor

Kim Butters is a fully certi­fied Pilates Instruc­tor through the Pilates Method Alliance. Before entering the fitness industry Kim taught Art at Jasper Middle School in Marion County for nine years. She became involved in fitness and ulti­mately Pilates because of constant neck and shoulder pain , contin­u­ing weight gain and high stress. She became an AFAA certi­fied Aerobics instruc­tor in 2000 and then an AFAA Personal Trainer in 2001 and begin working in fitness full time. [Full Bio…]

 

 

Sydney Craig - Owner/instructor

Sydney is a fully certi­fied Pilates instruc­tor through the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA). Before finding Pilates she was a full time hair­styl­ist at Arrojo-Cutler and educator for Bumble and bumble. She appren­ticed Nick Arrojo (from TLC’s ‘What Not to Wear’) and Rodney Cutler (of Cutler Salons in NYC and Miami) for two years. She believes that this is where she began to develop her “eye” for detail. Her journey with Pilates began in 2001 in an effort to combat back pain from years of hair­styling, a lifetime of bad posture and scol­io­sis. She was so inspired by her own improve­ments with Pilates that she dedi­cated herself to the intense instruc­tor training to become a Pilates teacher. [Full Bio…]

 

Will Daugh­erty - Instruc­tor

Will has completed the Pilates Foun­da­tion Workshop with 2nd gener­a­tion teacher Rebecca Leone and well as Ms. Leone’s Pilates Excel Workshop and Cadaver Lab. He has also been person­ally trained and educated by stretch master Kit Laughlin himself in contract/release tech­niques. He has also studied exten­sively with Sydney Craig, owner of Pilates Tonic and is currently working towards complet­ing his compre­hen­sive Pilates training through Balanced Body Univer­sity. [Full Bio…]

 

 

Mary Anne Foster – Instructor

MaryAnne believes that everyone has the ability to “Live bravely & uniquely in their own body.” She sees Pilates as a vital tool to make exercise an enjoy­able & phys­i­cally chal­leng­ing expe­ri­ence for all ages and abilities!

She began teaching Pilates in 2005. She recently completed training with stretch master teacher Kit Laughlin in posture & flex­i­bil­ity (contract/release tech­niques), and also completed training in mat, reformer, trap table, chair & barrels through Balanced Body Univer­sity (BBU) in Nashville. She has studied with highly acclaimed teachers includ­ing Rebecca Leone (Pilates Excel, Body Assess­ment & Align­ment workshop), Michele Larson (Level 5, mobile spine, scol­io­sis), Jennifer Gianni (Anatomy in Clay), June Kahn through SCW Fitness, & basic training through the YMCA.  [Full Bio…]
