The Secret to Building Glute Strength While Brushing Your Teeth

I’m a huge fan of creative ways to move more throughout the day without adding an ounce of exercise time to my schedule. 

What kind of moves am I talking about?

Here are some examples:

Stretching the arms overhead, out to the sides, or even taking them behind your back to relieve neck and shoulder tension.

Getting all the way down onto the ground instead of always sitting in a chair.

Lying on the ground and stretching your arms overhead as you reach out of your heels when you do the giant foam roller technique.

Paying attention to your knee alignment when you get up and down from a chair.

These moves might seem too small and insignificant to make a difference, but when practiced regularly, these shifts add up big time when it comes to maintaining and even regaining strength and flexibility.

In today’s video, I’ll show you one of my favorite moves to practice while brushing my teeth.

Think about it: it’s two minutes twice a day when you can either stare at yourself in the mirror while brushing or practice the exercise you’ll learn in today’s video.

This is a double-whammy move that strengthens your glutes and quadricep muscles simultaneously. You’ll probably get a hamstring stretch, too!
