I practice a few exercises every day without fail, and today I’m going to show you my favorite one.
This exercise is an essential piece of the posture puzzle, and it’s fantastic for shoulders and spines that have succumbed to modern living by rounding forward.
It’s a simple and effective chest stretch.
You’ll need a couple of blankets and pillows for this one, so have a few on hand, and I’ll show you how to create a setup that will ensure you get the most out of this effective shoulder-opening exercise.
As always, I’d love to hear how it goes after you give it a try. So make sure and tell me in the comments below.
With open shoulders,
Sydney

So glad you enjoyed the stretch, Sandra! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Sydney,
I love this stretch. It feels so-o, even at 85 years.

That’s amazing, Joy! Thanks so much for sharing!
I cannot roll my arm enough to get me thumb on the floor…so stiff
It can be surprising how stiff the shoulders and arms can be! It’s totally fine to do this one without the thumbs on the floor, and over time, with practice, they might just get there. Thanks for sharing, Mona!
