Your feet might not seem like the most exciting place to exercise, but with 33 joints in each foot, they’re built to move. When they don’t, the whole body feels it.
Locked-up feet can lead to issues like:
- Fallen arches
- Knee pain
- Inactive glutes
- Shin splints
- Plantar fasciitis
- Morton’s Neuroma
- Bunions
Many of these issues trace back to feet that have forgotten how to move independently—toe by toe, joint by joint.
The good news? A little foot mobility goes a long way.
In today’s video, I’ll show you a simple exercise to wake up your feet and help your whole body move and feel better.
Give it a try, and let me know how it goes—just reply to this email or leave a comment below.
With happy feet,
Sydney

I have a Morton’s Neuroma. I had a second steroid shot 2 months ago. I’d love to think I might correct it before it gets bad again. Any ideas?
Hi Melissa! Dr. Ray McClanahan is my go-to expert for all things related to the feet. I highly recommend his Correct Toes and his shoe recommendations.
Here’s a short video where he’s talking about Morton’s Neuromas.
